Freddie Dixon (26 June 1892 – 2 June 1956) was a British motorcycle racer and car driver in the 1920s and 1930s. He was best known for winning the 1934 RAC Tourist Trophy race at Ards in Northern Ireland driving for Riley, and setting a lap record that would stand for over a decade. Dixon was also a skilled mechanic and engineer, and he played a key role in the development of racing cars for such manufacturers as Riley, Sunbeam, and Alta. He retired from racing after suffering injuries in a crash at the 1939 Brooklands 500. During World War II, he worked for Rolls-Royce as an engine designer. Dixon died in 1956 at the age of 63.
